Did you know that there is equality in this whole wide world? We have seen rich and poor, dumb and wise, young and old, timid and bold, good and evil gentle and cruel. But we’re blessed with 365 days/year, 24 hours/week, to min/hour, 60 seconds/minute that is, TIME!
There is time for everything, time to be born and a time to die. The oldest man who ever lived was 969 years but, some died earlier than we can imagine. What spells the difference? Whether you invest life or just spend it.
Man devises plan. Some promising students with undying dreams and aspiration said: “I want to be successful” having this I want… six figures monthly income, cars, houses and facilities, resorts and amenities, and businesses. Have my own unending question: what’s next? Until he unconsciously shed tears realizing that life is certain and meaningless and temporal (II Cor: 4:18).
Investing time is spending not about our purposes but of Him who called us. Theologically and teleology implies to maximize it serving God and fellowmen than squandering it in vanity and pride. God is just, not forgetting your work and labor of love which you have shown to His Name (Heb 6:10). For us to discover the conclusion of the whole matter under the sun: to honor GOD and live only for His glory. For all things is of Him and through Him and to Him: to whom be glory forever.
